Tape measure itself isn't heavy-duty, but get real, you aren't going to be pulling out this bad boy at the lumberyard. This is more for checking to make sure that toaster oven will fit on your counter.

I ordered this for my dad and he is going to love it, it has a picture of the kids on it. Its great for when he needs to measure stuff in a store and its little and easy to carry around on his key chair. Perfect.

Okay quality product. I used it as a Father's Day present and put a picture of my kids with a caption, "To a Grandpa Who Really Measures Up!" A little bit cheap-feeling, but inexpensive and a cute gift.
